Style tips: How to rock all black look
No matter how the color trend changes every
year, one color will never be outdated. It’s the classic black color. There are
many reasons why we love this color. Wish to upgrade your black look to next
level? Try head-to-toe black look!
Fads may come and go, but black is forever.
You know who you notice when she enters a room? The girl in just another awful
pastel print? Absolutely not. It’s the girl dressed head to toe in black who’s
grabbing your attention. And the best part is it’s not even in an obnoxious
way. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. When it comes to black, you’re never
going to have regrets . Black is the most flattering of all of the colors out
there! Trying to look thin? You best know you’ll be rocking black that day.
According to a recent survey conducted by
the Independent, people most associate the color black with positive traits,
including confidence, intelligence, and sexiness, while it barely figured in
negative traits like arrogance. The problem with going for an all-black look,
though, is pretty obvious: Wearing one shade and one shade only can be pretty
boring. But it doesn’t have to be. There are a few simple styling tricks that
make wearing all-black arguably more fun.
A very easy way to add some dimension to your
look is working in lace or mesh to break it up, either in the form of a top or
skirt. The textures will play off of each other to add depth to your look.
Monochrome doesn't have to mean monotone! What's more, you can sneak some
colors in your accessories or makeup to highlight your look. Don't abandon
black! But don't be afraid to work a colorful print in, either, especially when
you're in the party dress kind-of mood. Accessorize with black to stay true to
your roots.
The following are some impressive celebrity
all black looks.
If you’re like Victoria and stick to an
all-black uniform, opt for a breathable fabric like a ladylike lace for a
summery update.
Isabelle Cornish looked slick in an
all-black look when she attended the launch of Vogue Fashion's Night Out in
Sydney.
Kim Kardashian looked so stylish in this
all-black look. What I really like about this outfit is that even though it is
all black, because of the different fabrics and textures, it doesn’t look at
all dull or boring.

Work Pink Into Your Wardrobe
Many women would think that pink colors are
just flattering for young ladies. In fact, pink color is a great color choice
for both man and woman. There are many ways to wear pink without looking like a
Barbie or a blancmange. Fashion designers have fallen in love with pink over
the past year. The following are some idea on how to work pink into your
wardrobe this spring.
A young girl in pink is often described as
cute, but a grown woman? She’s more likely to hear the words ‘Barbie’ or
‘blancmange’. However, there is good news: you can work pink into your wardrobe
as long as you stick to a few rules.
Colors to pair with pink
You can choose to make your pink dress
stand out and pair it with black and make a very girly color a bit ‘tough’.
Adding black will give your look some edge. You can also pair it with other
neutral colors like white, grey, nude, or navy. If you want to go bold, wear
pink with green to achieve contrasting effects. If you wish to play it safe,
pair it with softer hues in the same color, softer hue will offset the bright
color and still look so incredibly chic!
Popular pink shades to try
With spring just a hop, skip and jump away,
it’s time to revisit that fling with pastel colors. This season is all about
the dainty and dusty hue of pale pink, especially with Pantone’s declaration of
Rose Quartz as one of their two top colors of 2016. Next 2016 is all about
pastel colors. The same concerns pale pink hue. Go for blush outfits with minimalist
details. You can either wear totally pastel pink pantsuit or try on blazer in
pastel pink and pair it with light pink skinny jeans.
Wear pink like gown up
Don’t want to look too girlish? Choose
menswear inspired clothes and pair them with your favorite pink hue. For
example, you can try on sleeveless blush top and tuck it inside ripped
boyfriends or try on bulky pink coat and team it with pleated wide black
leather pants. The androgynous look is a perfect way to make drastic changes to
your everyday outfit. Pink dresses are also great dresses for specialoccasions. If there’s a special occasion, premier or corporate function on your
calendar, make an entrance in a dusty pink long sleeve dress and pink and beige
sandals.

Dressing guide: How to choose right dress size
When shopping for special occasion dresses,
it is strongly recommended to have your measurements taken by a professional
seamstress and to have measurements taken in the undergarments you plan to wear
with your gown. Here is a guide on how to measure your bust, hip, waist and
hollow to hem length.
When measure your bust, be sure to measure
at the fullest part of your chest with only bra on that you will wear with the
dress. Position the measuring tape so it covers the full circle and the widest
part of your chest. If you want to measure your hip, you should stand naturally
with your heels together in a relaxed posture. Position the tape around the
fullest part of your hip.
Measure your natural curve of your waist.
Usually, the smallest waist area is approximately about one inch above your
belly button. Don't pull the tape too tight or such-in your stomach. Hollow to
hem is a specific length measurements used for special occasion dress. The
measurement is taken from the depression at the base of the neck just above
just the collarbone to where you want the dress to be hemmed. Make sure your
account for your heel height of the shoes you plan to wear at the event.
Please consider that even with accurate
measurements, you may still need to alter the dress. Let’s face it, no one is
the perfect model size, that means dresses will most likely that some alterations
will need to be made. It’s a necessary part of purchasing any dress if you want
it to look perfect on you. You may not like the way it hugs your hips, or the
way it shows the silhouette of your body.
Keep in mind that size charts tend to be
different for different stores and that even with your measurements and the
size chart, you may be surprised by the wide array of sizes you will seem to
fit into. However, you can use this size chart as a basic guide. Always choose
the larger size if your measurements come between two sizes, especially if
you're ordering online. Avoid the dress size generators, as they tend to give
you the wrong sizes. Dress size generators claim to be able to tell you your
dress size in each store. If you are looking at European sizes, you'll want to
check out this chart, which converts American sizes into European sizes.

Top three colors to try this fall
Autumn is already here! It’s time to put away
your summer dresses or pants and start to shop for autumn clothes. Usually,
pastel colors are popular in spring and bright colors are flattering for
summer. And what colors are trending now this fall? In this post, I would
recommend you three colors to try this fall.
Olive
Olive is a great neutral color to wear if
you’re warm. There are brighter and more muted versions, lighter and darker. Many
girls thought that may have a military connotation to it. And olive green can’t
create a girly or feminine look. In fact, olive dresses with ruffles can be
very feminine. As olive is warm in its undertone, it’s an ideal neutral that
teams well with so many other colors, warm blues, orange, coral pink,
red-violet and camel to name a few. If you’re blonde and muted, team it with
soft, smoky warm colors in lighter tones. View trending olive green bridesmaid dresses at BlackFive.
Rust
Rust is a red-orange-brown color resembling
iron oxide. It is a commonly used color in stage lighting, and appears roughly
the same color as photographic safelights when used over a standard tungsten
light source. This color stands out because it is both earthy and regal. When
red and orange are just too “funky”, you can place your bets with sophisticated
Rust, a happy medium between the two colors. When you’re not sure if a color
matches rust, think about the outdoor world. If you can’t picture your color of
choice being found in nature, then it probably doesn’t go together.
Burgundy
Burgundy is one of the hottest fall
colors. The burgundy color is combined from the shades of red and blue, and it
is getting the best from both worlds. Because of that it is color that suits
good to everyone. Burgundy looks great with a range of blue shades, and works
particularly well with navy. When worn with metallics, burgundy is transformed
from a wonderfully understated color into a rich and regal tone. Various shades
of brown complement burgundy by playing up the red hue’s classic appeal.
